Mary and Hilary
Mother and Daughter. Best Girls. We woke up one day and realized two things- Mary was getting close to retirement and Hilary was getting close to having her kids in school. We were about to have a lot of “free” time and we wanted to spend it together. So we started brainstorming the things we love and love to do together. Designing products we love and love to use just felt so right, and we are excited to share them with you.
Farmstand:
No, we don’t live on a farm… yet. But we chose this name because of the feelings it evokes. To us, farmstands are the perfect way to do business: outside, person to person, simple, and unique. Maybe someday you’ll find us at an outdoor market or with a brick and mortar set up of our own. For now you’ll find us on the internet, pretending we’re meeting you under an awning in a town square, or at a wooden stand off the side of the road.
We all have a cause that we support - ours is MS.
We have a personal relationship with MS, as Hilary was diagnosed several years ago. Good medicine, therapy, and health professionals have kept her healthy and vibrant! But these cost money, and there are many others with this disease that haven’t been as fortunate. We will donate 1% of our proceeds to MS Society when you purchase from M+H.
